Donald Trump’s ‘they’re eating the dogs’ remark is now a song. Hilarious video

South African music sensation David Scott, popularly known as The Kiffness, has once again struck internet gold — composing a parody song mocking former US President Donald Trump’s false claim about illegal immigrants eating pets in Ohio.
For the track, titled “Eating the Cats”, Scott used an audio clip of Trump’s viral remark he made during the presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.
During the debate’s segment on immigration, Trump made an eyebrow-raising claim, saying illegal immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, were “eating the pets” of residents. He was fact-checked in real-time by the moderators of the debate, who said there was no such evidence.
Scott, known for turning odd internet moments into catchy songs, has now turned Trump’s bizarre remark into a viral track, juxtaposing it with the sounds of cats and dogs.

This isn’t the first time Trump’s comments have triggered viral reactions online. Earlier, a Golden Retriever’s animated response to Trump’s claim also went viral, which left the internet in splits.
Trump’s remark, made during his debate with US Vice President Kamala Harris, wasn’t just a flash of oddity and triggered a massive controversy.
Despite the seriousness of the debate, Trump’s words became fodder for memes, with the phrase “They’re eating the pets” trending across X.
As the US heads into the November election, alongside serious policy topics like immigration and the economy, the odd viral moments are what sticking in people’s minds – and The Kiffness is here to give them a beat.
